Paintball History

Did you know that paintball wasn't originally created as a sport? The paintball gun was used in the 1970s by farmers for marking trees and livestock. Then years later, 20 friends played the first paintball game using industrial paintball guns. The sport of paint have evolved faster than most other sports we have today. Paintball was used to be called "The National Survival Game." Over the years, the name has changed and the game became more sofisticated.

The first outdoor commercial paintball game was played in 1982 and followed by the first indoor paintball game is 1984. Nowaday, the game has exploded into a multimillion-dollar sport across the United States and Europe.

Basic paintball equipment includes paintball safety googles, face mask, clothing (paintball jersey and pants), paintball gun, and tubes with paintballs.
